Architectural Design (Full Service), Interior Design

This corporate headquarters facility is a unique program providing 756,280 sq. ft. of storage, distribution and operations space and 52,555 sq. ft. of office and administrative space in its initial phase. Future phases include 192,000 sq. ft. of office and amenity space and 378,000 sq. ft. of storage and distribution.

The facility employs cross-dock organization and includes 158 dock doors, eight customer delivery doors at grade and a drive-in door. With tilt-up concrete walls comprising the 38- foot- clear-height storage space, the facility is fully racked and protected with an in-rack sprinkler system. The delivery and dock staging area is 120 feet deep and features work areas for furniture assembly, unpacking, touch-up, repair and delivery preparation. The corporate office space, located on a mezzanine, features a kinetic and vibrant architectural design reflecting the energy and fun-loving culture of Jordan’s Furniture and their unique brand of “Shoppertainment”. The loft type open office space is organized along a central circulation axis that features boldly colored and canted walls enclosing private offices and amenity areas.

This facility serves as the main distribution center for five regional stores. The corporate headquarters office accommodates departments that had been spread across three different facilities. The project also provides a new and expanded data center serving Jordan’s entire computer network.
